Nice to Meet You
James McClatchy, RN, NC-BC
James McClatchy is a registered nurse and board-certified coach with a strong commitment to whole-person health, personal responsibility, and sustainable lifestyle change. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah, bringing together a foundation in both nutrition science and clinical nursing practice.
James integrates evidence-based coaching methods—including motivational interviewing, goal setting, and solution-focused strategies—with his clinical background to help individuals create meaningful and lasting improvements in their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. His approach is practical, structured, and grounded in the belief that people are capable of real change when they are supported, equipped, and challenged in the right ways.
James is passionate about helping individuals move from insight to action—bridging the gap between knowing what matters and actually building a life aligned with it. His coaching is rooted in the belief that people are capable of meaningful change, not only in their health, but in their sense of purpose, direction, and fulfillment.
His work emphasizes accountability, resilience, and personal ownership, while also focusing on empowerment and intentional living. James supports individuals in clarifying what they truly want their life to look like, and then taking practical, sustainable steps toward creating a life they genuinely love—one shaped by values, growth, and aligned action.
Outside of his professional roles, he values time outdoors, physical activity, and family-centered living, reflecting his broader philosophy of building a grounded, intentional, and meaningful life.
